Helen L. Wotring, 87, of Slatington, died Aug. 13 in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late David H. Wotring.
She was a factory worker for Paris Neckwear, Walnutport, and previously for the former Slatedale Knitting Mill.
Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Granville J. and Clara M. (Walters) Heintzelman.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale.
She was a former member of Slatington Senior Citizens and a former auxiliary member of Citizen's Fire Company No. 1, Slatedale.
Survivors: Son, Gerald D. of Slatington; daughter, Betty Lou Phillips of Schnecksville; brother, Calvin P. of Slatington; sister, Mildred E. Hunsicker of Slatedale; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
