    She was born Oct. 7, 1919 to William and Annie Mae Buchanan Hall in Dumfries, Scotland, where she attended school.

    On Oct 12, 1944 she and John G. Elsdon were married in Hawick, Scotland.

    She was a resident of Carmel and Bronxville before moving to Scarsdale in 1987.

    She was survived by her brother William, but her two sisters died earlier.
