Davison and Jennie Williams, his wife. Granddaughter of George L. Davison and Lydia Crosby, his wife; C. Davis Williams and Florinda Preston, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Beriah Davison and Mary Utley, his wife; Amos Preston and Martha Taylor, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Peter Davison and Abigail W. Davison, his wife; Thomas Taylor. Thomas Taylor (1752-1815) enlisted, 1776, in Col. Comfort Sage's 3rd battalion, Wadsworth's brigade. He served in New York City and on Long Island, his brigade being sent to reinforce Washington. His company was caught in the retreat from New York and suffered severely. He was also in the battle of White Plains. He was born and died in Willington, Conn. Also No. 7680. Peter Davison (1739-1800) was appointed in 1775 ensign of the 10th company of train band, 21st regiment of militia, under Col. John Douglass, in the campaign around New York, 1776. In 1778 he was promoted to lieutenant in the same company. He was born and died in Brooklyn, Conn.
