- Daughter of Marion and Anna Josephine (Wells) Davis. Grew up in Rossville area and graduated from Rossville High School in 1944. She was secretary for the Rossville High School retiring in 1989. Member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church. On March 4, 1945 she was united in marriage to Samual M. "Shorty" Thompson. He survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, a brother and a sister and four grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held July 3, 2007 at Presbyterian Church in Rossville and intermet will be at the Delia Cemetary.
