    Age 88, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2002. She was born on August 25, 1914 to Thaddeus and Edith (Delo) Wardwell in Fremont Township. Hazel owned and operated Williamston Floral as well as Duby's Lake Lansing, Lookout Inn in the Ossineke/Alpena area and Alibi in Tawas City, MI. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Duby, sisters, Creole Thompson, Virginia Placer, Geraldine Ward and Flossie Berry. Surviving are two brothers, Dale (Ruth) Wardwell of Holt and Keith A. (Hazel) Wardwell of Florida and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Jose Mundadan officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Winn, MI. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
