Mrs. McConnell (nee Dalgleish)was the beloved wife of the late Melvin McConnell. She is survived by son Douglas (Shirley) of Oakville. She was grandmother of Debbie (Keith Dalgleish) andNancy (Bradley Nelson); and great-grandmother of Sarah and Jason Dalgleish; and Robert and Jeffrey Nelson. She was sister of Helen Lenke of Florida, Alice (Lorne Craig) of Vernon, Dorothy Culkin of Iroquois, Stuart Dalgleish of Vernonand the late Margaret Justus, Cora Fawthrop, Jean and Harvey. Mrs. McConnell was sister-in-law of Dr. Howard Justus of Chesterville, Ivan Saunders of Osgoode, Irene McDiarmid of Kemptville and Vera Hanna of Prescott. Family and friendspaid their respects at Duncan Funeral Home in Metcalfe on Sept. 29 and the funeral service was held on Sept. 30. Interment was at Spring Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be mostappreciated.
