April 20, 1944 Edgar Cayce gave a reading for a subject who was born June 7, 1900 in Pomeroy,PA. He said her birth day was extraordinarily stormy. A research foundation wrote to the city clerk of Pomeroy asking what the weather was like on June 7,1900. He had no idea.

June 7, 1900 was ...a fine day in Brandywine Manor, tem miles northeast of Pemeroy according to Mrs. Hattie N. Mcclure Forest, who writes the Record,"In your columns of February 12 there is an inquiry concerning the weather of June 7, 1900. I have kept a diary for many years an so I went to the attic and found the 1900 edition. The day was pleasant and pretty hot with morning temperature registering 51 degrees. I had no trouble remembering the day as it was my father's birthday - namely. J. Grier McClure.
