Facts and Events
Manhattan, Nov. 9. – Mrs. John Hyink, aged 25 years, died at the detention hospital here at noon today, from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Mrs. Hyink was the widow of John B. Hyink, who passed away last Sunday at his home in this city from the same disease. She had been ill for about two weeks and was among the first patients to be removed to the hospital after its establishment a week ago. Mrs. Hyink's maiden name was Hattie Freswick, and she was born in Patterson, N. J., and was married two years ago to Mr. Hyink. Besides a 14 months' old baby, the deceased leaves a mother and father, four brothers and one sister, all of whom reside in the Holland settlement south of this city. Announcement of the funeral arrangements will be made later. ~ Published in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle ~ November 10, 1918 References
