Harvey Doyle McGaugh

Harvey Doyle McGaugh, 82, of Medford, passed away May 30, 2007. He was born December 30, 1924, in Midland Texas to Leonard and Odie McGaugh, who preceded him in death, along with a sister, Ethelene Harper of Dunsmuir, California.

Harvey arrived in the Medford area with his parents as a teenager during the Depression, then moved on with them to California where he lived in the Fresno area and then in Dunsmuir before returning to Medford in the late 1970's with his company, Suburban Propane. After retirement Harvey enjoyed spending time with his family, his music, and working in his wood shop.

He is survived by his daughter, Pam Zaklan and son-in-law, Dan Zaklan, of Medford, and daughter, Lynda Demsher and son-in-law, Don Demsher, of Alturas California; son, Richard K. McGaugh, of Chico, California; friend and companion, Bea Smythe, of Medford; brother, Cleatus "Red" McGaugh; of Montague, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
