HARVEY LUPER DIES; 15 ARE IN FAMILY

Bethany Carpenter Expires at Kirksville Hospital-Funeral is Today

Harvey Luper, 63, for many years a carpenter at Bethany, died Monday, 12 Feb. 1945, at a Kirksville hospital to which he had been taken two weeks before for treatment intended to prepare him for surgery. The operation was not performed.

In his own family Mr. Luper is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and 14 sons and daughters. From a first marriage they are Mrs. Victor Hinkle, Mrs. Oliver Lovell and Avery Luper, all of Bethany. The others are Maxine, Max Gene, Catherine, Harry Leroy, Albert, James, Cleo, Rosalie, Raymond, Billy, and Edith, all of the home. He is also survived by a brother and three sisters, John Luper of Bethany, Mrs. Ed Romesburg of Rich Hill, Mrs. Frank Romesburg and Mrs. William Goucher, both of Albany.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock today at the Baptist church, and burial will be at Pythian cemetery.
