    Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Owensburg Church of Christ for William Harvey Jackson, 92 year-old Jackson township resident, who died at 11:25 Thursday morning at the home of a son Hester Jackson, near Owensburg. S. D. Baker, of Owensburg, officiated, and burial was made in the Owensburg Cemetery. The deceased suffered a fractured hip on June 12, and death was attributed to complications and advanced age. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Owensburg Church of Christ. Born near Owensburg on Sept. 28, 1857, he was the son of Alfred and Eliza Jackson, pioneer residents of Jackson township. Mr. Jackson was united in marriage in 1880 to Patsy Elizabeth Lamb, who preceded him in death on Aug. 2, 1911. Surviving him are three sons, Fred B. Jackson, of Crawfordsville; H. D. Jackson, of Bedford and Hester Jackson, of Owensburg; a brother , Columbus Jackson, of Oolitic; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gracie Brown, in 1938.
