Death Claims H. M. Glunt, U. C. Resident
Harvey Milton (Milt) Glunt, 84, of 510 North High street, Union City, passed away at 4 p. m. Wednesday at the Brumbaugh nursing home in Greenville following a stroke he suffered ten days ago. He had been in declining health for the past three years.
Born of December 11, 1864, in Darke county, he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Crumrine-Glunt. He received his education in Darke county schools and was married to Hanna Roe on December 24, 1885.
Mr. Glunt had spent his entire life in Darke county and the Union City community and was active in farming pursuits until his retirement in 1920. He was a member of the Modern Woodman lodge.
Besides the wife, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Mable Chenoweth, Wasseon, O.; one son, Guy G. Glunt, Greenville; four grandchildren, including Warren Glunt, Union City businessman, and one great-granddaughter.
