The book "Sebring Collections", by Sebring and Sebring, published in 1975, lists Harry O's year of birth as 1872. According to his neice-in-law, Ida (Thomas) Sebring, Harry built a cabin in International Falls, Minnesota in the 1930's. Ida told me (Jerry D. Abshier in January 2001) that she remembers driving to the cabin with her husband Leroy Sebring in a Model T Ford, from Illinois. Harry had lined up a job for Leroy at the local paper mill when they arrived, in hopes that they would relocate and live near him. Ida remembers the woods behind the cabin were so thick that you could easily get lost in them.

Don Smith was told by John Sebring, Harry's brother, that Harry had two children, a boy and a girl, by his wife Caroline. Harry and Caroline divorced and she remarried in September 1898 (date locted on familysearch.org, by Don Smith). John Sebring related to Don Smith that at some point the children were placed in different homes to be raised, and that Harry was supposed to pay for the children's 'keep'. When Harry O. died, John Sebring tried to locate the children to settle his brother's estate, but could never find them.
