Harry was my husband's great-grandfather. He was one of 5 children and the twin of Carrie M Peterson Houlding. His 1st marriage was at age 31 on 12 May 1900 in Ashland, Newaygo County, MI, and his young bride (age 18) was Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kuhn of Wisconsin. They had a son and a daughter, Harold and Garnet.
Harry was a farmer in the early days, but later worked as a merchant in Grant.
Lizzie died of complications of a pregnancy in 1914. Six years later, Harry married Grace Crumrine Shoals, the daughter James "Wallace" Crumrine and Emma Carmon Crumrine oh Ohio. She was previously married to Frank Sholes.
