Funeral services held for Harry Graham Moffat, 53 who died on Oct 22, 1951, after a lengthy illness, were held in Diehl's Funeral home on Oct 25, by G S Matchett with interment in Glenwood Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were H Casey, H Taylor, M Oser, W Roney, C D Gibson and E Fallis with H Smith, W McDonald, G Stokes and his three brothers, Ernest, Lloyd and Wilfred as active pallbearers. Harry Moffat was born in Winnipeg and was in his 54th year. In 1918 he came to Souris, and four years later married Leona Barnes, who survives with one daughter, Mrs A C Blight (Helen) of Port Arthur and two grandsons. Of the three brothers already mentioned as pallbearers, Ernest is living in Souris. Wilfred and Lloyd in Winnipeg. One sister Mrs W H Fallis is living in Winnipeg. During his residence in Souris, he was employed on the Canadian Pacific and was a member of the brotherhood of Railway trainmen.

Funeral service Thursday for Harry G Moffat, 53, will be held on Thursday,Oct 25 at 2:30 pm from Deihl's Funeral Home and burial will be made in Glenwood Cemetery. Mr Moffat died suddenly at his home here on Monday evening. He was a railway conductor with the C P R. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Mrs Carswell Blight of Fort William....
