b. 10 Sep 1879 [age] 31 NB [Note: I think the day and month are right as this matches well to the month of birth provided in the 1911 Canada Census. However, the year of birth given on the index is wrong. In the original handwriting it definitely looks like it says 1879, but the age given is 31. This age would only work for a year of birth of 1870, again matching the 1911 census. So I am going with a date of birth of 10 Sep 1870. This is close to the c1866 year of birth from the 1881 census. While this Census shows him as having been born in NB, the 1881 and 1911 Census both show him as being born in PEI. So this Census was mistaken.
