Harry Fultz
Harry Fultz, 88, 5400 W. 7th, formerly of 5000 Huntoon, died Thursday at a Kansas City, Mo. hospital where he was a patient the past week.
He was born Sept. 22, 1894, in Topeka, the son of George Washington and Melissia Isabell Fultz. He attended Topeka grade school and high schools.
Mr. Fultz lived and farmed in the Richland and Berryton communities until 1953 when he moved to Topeka. He moved to Meriden in 1957 and returned to Topeka in 1970.
He was a member of the American Legion and Grace United Methodist Church. He served in the Army during World War I.
He married Frances Elrena Fogerty Nov. 5, 1919, in Topeka. She died April 11, 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosalie Perkins, Topeka; seven sons, H. Blaine Fultz and Milo Fultz, both of Topeka, Gerald Fultz, Anaheim, Calif., Wendell Fultz, Lyons, Ore., Ronald Fultz, Harlingen, Texas, George Fultz, Silver Lake, and Bob Foltz, Meriden; 38 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Services are pending Monday at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Richland. Mr. Fultz will lie in state from 6 p.m. today until service time at the chapel.
