See 'Frant, The Story of a Wealden Parish' by Patricia Wright, pg 83 & 90. I believe this Harry Field to be the same mentioned in this book asa blacksmith and builder who was commissioned by a millionare namedBernato from South Africa who would go to Eridge to gamble with KingEdward the VIII. Bernato asked Harry to build a home in Scotland for himand his bride. The home had six bathrooms, first in England?? Bernatos'wife wouldn't live there due to the cold and dampness so Harry builtanother home in South Africa for him. Was also to have a wicked cricket
arm.
