HARRY KEMERER
Harry J. Kemerer, 86, of Jeanette, died Thursday at 3:05 p.m. in the Jeanette District Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Rosella Carnahan Kemerer, formerly of Versailles: sons, Ralph Kemerer of Novato, Cal., and Robert Kemerer of Greensburg; daughters, Mrs. Mary Kessel of Boston, Mrs. Lyde Fox of Forrest Hills, Mrs. Louise Gabel of Irwin, and Mrs. Eleanor Felger of Novato; step-sons, Charles W. Carnahan of Versailles and Earl and Robert Carnahan of Ohio, Emerson Carnahan of McKeesport and Norman Carnahan of Philadelphia; a step-daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Wetzel of Versailles: 236 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Friends are being received at the Miller Whitlatch Funeral Home, Jeanette, where services will be conducted by the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Jeanette Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Kemerer, a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad, was a former member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Born Dec. 15, 1875, in Bouquet, Pa., he was a son of the late Zachari and Mary Smail Kemerer.
