Born to Jacob Crumrine and Elizabeth Gass/Crumrine.
He was the 7th of 9 children.
In the early 1870's Harrison made his way west, settling in the newly developed Ventura County.
He is found to have moved west to the Saticoy area of Ventura County by 1880, where he farmed a sizable property.
Mary Trotter-Wilkerson became his wife on July 10, 1880.
They had 4 children together: 3 sons and a daughter.
On the 1920 census, the couple is found living in Santa Paula, Ca., with Harrison listed as a fruit growing farmer.
