NC show that after Eliza's(Harriet's also) parents died, Samuel Mitchell [her uncle] was the guardian from 1832 through 1836 of her, her sister Harriet, and cousin Elizabeth Ann Mitchell [daughter of David Mitchell III and wife Nancy Muzzall].
