Harriet J. Robertson
JASPER, Mo. - Harriet Jewel Robertson, 62, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at 2 a.m. at a local hospital in Joplin.
Harriet was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Carthage, Mo., to Earl and Lenna (Quade) Fitchpatrick. She lived her entire life in Jasper County. She was in home daycare for 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Jasper.
Harriet was united in marriage to Melvern Robertson on April 13, 1968, in Jasper. He survives.
Additional survivors include 2 daughters and their husbands, Becky and Mark Thomas, Garden City, Mo., and Nancy and Aaron Dockery, Carthage; three brothers and their wives, Carroll and Louella Fitchpatrick, Topeka, Kan., Clifford and Nita Fitchpatrick, Jasper, Mo., and Ben and Elene Fitchpatrick, Jasper; four sisters, Thelma Shaffer, Jerome, Idaho, Wanda Rector, Nevada, Mo., Eva Louise Cavener and her husband, Dale, Springfield, Mo., and Delores Whitehead and her husband, Clarence, Neosho, Mo.; five granddaughters; 25 nieces and nephews; 62 great-nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lenna Fitchpatrick.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery, east of Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund or to St. John's Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper.

Harriet Jewel Robertson, 62, Jasper, Mo., died Sept. 5, 2004, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. She was born on Aug. 5, 1942, in Carthage, Mo., the daughter of Earl and Lenna (Quade) Fitchpatrick. She married Melvern Robertson on April 13, 1968, in Jasper, and he survives of the home.
She worked in home daycare for 30 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jasper.
