On Monday April 20, 1868, HARRIET S. TREADWELL, consort of James H. Treadwell, aged 36 years. May she rest in peace.
None knew her but to love her,
Non named her but to praise.
She was most highly esteemed for her great benevolence of heart, and her sincere and unfeigned piety. - Few have lived among us more universally beloved ; few have died more deeply lamented.
Lonely the house and sad the hours,
Since our dear mother's gone ;
But, Oh! a brighter home than ours,
In heaven is now her own.
Then let our sorrows cease to flow,
God has recalled his own,
But let our hearts, in every woe,
Still say, "Thy will be done."
