[Exeter Land 10?:166-167] -28 May 1766 Harper Rogers of Hopkinton, RI & Marcy his wife for £375 to David Lillibridge of Exeter, yeoman, 25 acres bounded: Roaring Brook, David Lillibridge, grantor. Witnesses: Benjamin Barber and Nathan Barber. [Exeter Land 10?:165-166] -28 Aug 1797 Mary Clarke & Elisabeth Rogers both of Richmond, spinster, to Peleg Mumford & Lydia his wife. Being part of land given by James Rogers late of Richmond deceased by his last will to his son Robert Rogers & his male heir; upon failure to decend to Harper Rogers son of James. Went to Court April 1778 (in South Kingstown) and as a consequence said land became property of the 3 daughters of Robert: Mary, Lydia and Elizabeth -- Robert to get it for his lifetime.
