Decatur -- Harold E. Hurd Sr., 61, of Decatur died Saturday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Ann Arbor, Mich.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson and Hawley Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where friends may call beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday until time of services. Burial will be at a later date in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Mr. Hurd was born July 30, 1933, in Belleville, Mich. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include: three sons -- Robert Hurd, Harold Hurd Jr. and James Hurd, all of Decatur; two daughters -- Kathy McNett of Lawton and Susan Greene of Decatur; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers -- Charles Hurd of Ypsilanti, Mich., Douglas Hurd of Prescott, Mich., and Jay Hurd of Brooksville, Fla.; and four sisters -- Ila Humberger of Florida, Eleanor Humberger of Kentucky, Gertha Covell of Brooksville, and Jeannie Jones of Tennessee.
