HAROLD BROWN The Republic, August 4, 1977

   Harold W. Brown, 69, of Salisbury, died July 29, 1977, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  He was born April 18, 1908, in Meyersdale, a son of the late William and Ulela (Harding) Brown.   He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Clara Baer, two sons and one daughter.  He is survived by two sons, Roger, of Meyersdale RD 3 and Kenneth, of South Carolina; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Price of Gainesborough, Va.; four brothers, Wilbur of Salisbury, Lawrence of LaVale, Md., Ray of Avilton, Md., and Elmer of Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Maust of Grantsville, Md., and Mrs. Marie McKenzie of Salisbury; six grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday at the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. David Fetter officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
