    ... Harlan and Margaret (Green) Hall, the former a native of Kentucky and the latter of Decatur county. While still a small child, Harlan Hall was brought by his parents to Decatur county, where he grew to manhood and received his educational training in the public schools. He was a veteran of the Civil war and his lifelong vocation was farming, in which he was successful, and he bore a reputation as a progressive and loyal citizen of his community.
