    Rev. Harley Jackson, 85-year-old of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Saturday July 11 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Sullens. Rev. Jackson was well remembered in this area as the Christain Church Minister in Seymour and at Indianapolis.

    Rev. Jackson was born September 9, 1874 at Owensburg, the son of Alonza and Martha Hatfield Jackson. He was united in marriage to Lizzie Armstrong at Springville, April 14, 1897. She preceded him in death August 1, 1945.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sullens of Cleveland, Ohio; one sons, James Jackson of Cleveland; one sister, Mrs. William Hudson of New Castle, Indiana; one brother, Mr. Alfred Jackson of Owensburg and four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Lois, preceded him in death.

    Private funeral services will be held in Cleveland, Wednesday, June 15, and graveside services will be held at the Methodist Cemetery in Springville, Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Grant Blackwood, pastor of the First Christain Church officiating.
