Obituary from unnamed Lawrence County newspaper: Mrs. Lizzie Armstrong Jackson, wife of Harley Jackson residing at 3557 West 136th street, Cleveland, Ohio, died at 6:30 o'clock Wednesday evening at the home of her brother, Curtis Armstrong, located at the Junction of State Highway 54 and the Springville Owensburg road a quarter mile west of Springville. She arrived at the home of her brother nine days ago for a visit and was stricken ill last Saturday. The remains were removed to the Day-Carter and Roach funeral home for burial preparation and will lie in state there. Funeral services will be conducted from the Elmwood chapel at 4:00 o'clock Friday afternoon and internment will follow in the Springville Methodist Cemetery. A native of Lawrence County, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late Ari and Sarah Ann Kern Armstrong and was born at the family residence now occupied by the Kern Armstrong family in the Armstrong station community. She was united in marriage with Harley Jackson in 1897. Survivors beside the husband are a son, James Bradley Jackson, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sullens, both of Cleveland, Ohio; two granddaughters and two grandsons; three brothers, Grant Armstrong of Bloomington; Kern and Curtis Armstrong, both of Lawrence County. Mrs. Jackson belonged to the Euclid Avenue Christain Church in Cleveland and was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the Missionary Society and was a teacher in the Sunday School of that church.
