[edit] Montana Standard, July 20, 1972Services for Hans M. Hansen, 79, of Pablo. retired Burre miner, are pending at Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home. Mr. Hansen died Tuesday in Butte. Butte police said Mr. Hansen was found dead near 239 E. Curtis about 9:44 a.m. Police reports indicated he apparently fell and struck his head against a large rock, The report said no foul play was suspected. Silver Bow County Coroner Leo Jacobsen was not available to give the cause of death. Born in Oslo, Norway, Nov. 4, 1892, Mr. Hansen attended Boulder schools. A veteran of World War I, he worked for the BA&P railroad in Butte. He married Florence Carlyon in 1937 in Butte. He is survived by his wife; sisters, Marie Brawner of Pablo. Betty Graham of Washington and Jennie Guilo of Boulder, brother Chris Hansen of Warm Springs and nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. |
