In 1773 he is identified as a "farmer" (not a Miller), with 50 acres cleared, 50 acres wood, 2 horses, 2 cows. He served in the Revoloutionary War in 1777 as a Private in the 1st Batallian, Northampton, Militia. Ulrich Brinker dieed 20 June 1785 at 59 years, leaving wife Appollonia and 6 childreh: Andreas (Andrew) Margaret, Jacob, Adam, John and George, the last four still minors who were appointed guardians.
