Jonathan Whitcomb m. 25 Nov 1667 Hannah ---. On 18 Jul 1692 Hannah, Jonathan's widow, was killed at the house of Peter Joslin in Lancaster by Indians. The estate was divided among the heirs: Mary the youngest daughter, Jonathan the oldest son he paying Mary, Katherine and Ruth, then to Hannah, Abigail and Elizabeth [note: list of children on p. 187 shows a son John, not mentioned in the given abstract].
