Hannah's father, William Sutton, died intestate in Knowlton Township, Sussex County New Jersey about September 15 1794 (S2, S3). Hannah's mother, Anne Hawkins-Sutton, married (S1) Andrew Freeman on Nov 13 1799 in Byram Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. Anne wrote her will (S4)on April 14 1818 and died in Independence Township, Sussex County, New Jersey sometime before June 9 1818 when her will was filed in the county courthouse. Hannah may have accompanied her sister, Elizabeth Sutton, and her brother-in-law, David Cummins, on the trek from Knowlton, New Jersey to West Flamborough, Upper Canada about 1794. Hannah probably met her future husband, John Morden, in West Flamborough in Upper Canada and they were probably married there. Hannah was identified as wife of John Mordin (sic) in the April 14 1818 (S4) will of her mother, Anne Hawkins-Sutton-Freeman. Hannah's husband, John Morden, died in 1832, 32 years before her. He was buried in the churchyard of the North Street Methodist Church in Westminster Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. Hannah is buried (S5) with her son, Rev. Ralph Morden, in the Trinity Anglican Churchyard in Lambeth in Westminster Township. Image Gallery
