Daughter Hannah, wife of Samuel Lyon, was mentioned in the will of her father, Abraham Miller of Rye (whose wife was Hannah), written 18 Sep 1749. In his will dated 1 Jan 1756, probated 17 March 1756, Samuel Lyon of Rye, mentioned wife Hannah and children William, Nehemiah, Silvanus, Benjamin, Abraham, Monmouth, Elizabeth wife of Nathaniel Sherwood, Abigail and Hannah. Made brother Joseph and son Wm. executors. ---children of Samuel Lyon & Hannah Miller:

Added note: Sarah Purdy may be d/o Isaac 4 Purdy (Jonathan 3, Joseph 2, Francis 1) & Sarah Budd. This Sarah was born 1757. Children listed for them are Monmouth Lyon and Sylvanus Lyon. Sylvanus is a more common spelling than Silvanus. Sarah Budd was probably the d/o Elisha Budd and Ann Lyon. No Sarah Purdy currently appears as a daughter of a John Purdy in this time period, but of course there is always the possibility of unknown descendants of Francis Purdy.
