According to: Ancestry and descendants of Nancy Allyn (Foote) Webb, Rev. Edward Webb, and …, By Mrs. Mary Evarts (Webb) Cooch, Hannah Lake and her mother Margaret Lake neé Reade came to the country on the ship Abigail, arriving Oct. 6, 1635. Their names do not appear, however, on the ship's passenger list at http://www.winthropsociety.com/ships.php#passship and there appears to be no record evidence of their arrival.

    "Ann (called Hannah in New England records) (Lake), bapt. at North Benfleet July 3, 1621; migrated with her mother to New England; m. about 1642 Capt. John Gallop, who had served in the Pequot War in 1637 and was killed in the Narragansett Swamp Fight in King Philip's War, dec. 19, 1675, son of John and Christabel Gallop of Boston, Mass. They lived successively in Boston, New London, Conn., and Stonington, Conn."
