When the Mormons were driven from Missouri, Samuel Drollinger started for Lee County, Iowa, to purchase land and died enroute. Samuel's widow Rachel Cook, their children and Hannah Kidd Drollinger came to Illinois where they purchased land 6 miles south of Nauvoo (sp?) Illinois. Hannah died here in 1845.
