Lyme, Conn., Jan. 10, 1724 (John3, Matthew2, Matthew>sup></sup>1); m. in Norwich, Conn., Nov. 5, 1740, Benajah Bushnell, … s. of Benajah and Zerviah (Leffingwell) Bushnell. … Hannah's inscription: 'In memory of Mrs. Hannah, consort of Mr. Benajah Bushnell & daughter of John Griswold, Esq., late of lime, decs., who departed this life in Hope of a Better on the 10th day of Aug. 1772, in ye 49th year of her age.' It is said her gravestone was removed and placed in the basement of Christ church."
