Jonathan Russell [#2] m. Salem 10 Apr 1718 Hannah Estey, d/o John Estey and Mary Dorman, bp. Topsfield 24 Dec 1693. 28 Feb 1733/34 widow Hannah Russell signed an agreement with brother-in-law Benjamin Russell regarding support of her mother-in-law and dower rights.

  3. Source:Dorman, Franklin Abbott. Thomas Dorman of Topsfield Massachusetts (1600-1670), p. 9, says Hannah, "m. Isaac Cummmings". Source:Russell, George Ely. Descendants of William Russell of Salem, Mass. 1674, p. 17 says Jonathan Russell m. Salem 10 Apr 1718 Hannah Estey, d/o John Estey and Mary Dorman.

The husband of Mary Dorman, John Estey, m. (2) Hannah --- and moved to Salem. His will in 1714 (Essex Probate 9120), "of Salem" names his daughter Hannah, unmarried in both the above scenarios. The marriage to Jonathan Russell is found in Salem. The marriage to Isaac Cummings in 1720/21 is found in Topsfield (and Ipswich) and calls that Hannah "of Ipswich". So Jonathan Russell appears to be the right answer.

Source:Essex Institute Historical Collections (Essex Institute Press), "Isaac Esty of Topsfield and Some of His Descendants", Vol. 36, p. 135, identifies the wife of Isaac Cummings as the Hannah, d/o Isaac Estey and Abigail Kimball, b. 1702. Page 136, identifies the wife of Jonathan Russell as the Hannah, d/o John Estey and Mary Dorman, bp. 1693. So it appears to be in agreement with the above analysis.
