    Lewis Press:  Hannah E. Dugger was born January 6, 1856, in Knox Co., Ky.
    Died at her home near Lewis, Kansas, March 9, 1923, being therefore 67 years, 2 months, 3 days old, she was the 11th child of a family of 12 children moved with her parents to Monroe Co., Ind., 1863, and later moved to Kansas, with her father in 1883, was married May 30, 1887 to Andrew R. Cross at Kinsley, Kansas, to this union was born 2 children, Clarence E. and Flora. Flora having died July 18, 1894. Her husband A. R. Cross preceded her August 27, 1915.
    She leaves to mourn her departure 1 son, Clarence E. Cross of Lewis, Kansas, 4 grandchildren, brothers, Jesse F. Dugger of Lewis, and James M. Dugger of New Mexico, 1 sister, Nettie D. Short of Brazil, Ind., and a host of relatives and friends.
    Funeral Services were held at the M. E. Church at Lewis in charge of Rev. Pierce and Rev. Chas. Norman. Interment was made in the Trotter cemetery.
