The probate of Hannah's brother Samuel lists "Hannah Allen" as a sister of Samuel. Source:Brigham, Emma Elisabeth. History of the Brigham Family, p. 42, supplements the original volume of HBF with her belief that Hannah moved to Rutland with her sisters, m. 8 Jun 1747 (at age 35) William Allen, having children born 1748, 1751, 1753 (marriage and children found in Rutland VRs). Because of Hannah's age, one would be inclined to suspect that this might have been William Allen's second marriage. There is a marriage in 1746 of William Allen to Abigail Allen (i.e., 10 months before the marriage of William Allen to Hannah Brigham) but this is probably a different person, perhaps a son from the first marriage?
