Mrs Hannah Seele Wife to Mr John Seele Departed this life February the 16th 1760.

  2. 2.0 2.1 In the probate file of her father, Hannah is called the second daughter and has a guardian, Thomas Manly, appointed for her in 1721/22 (see Bristol Probate Vol. 4, p. 46), so under age then. The birth estimate of 1704 is based on the date of marriage (12 Jan 1723/24), and the location is assumed Norton since her father was of North Purchase when he married and still when he died. Her parentage is shown by the probate file of her brother Clement (Bristol Probate 3303), who died unmarried in 1725, and his estate was administered by John Selee, and one share of his estate went to his second sister Hannah Sillee.
