The marriage of Hammond Seaver was announced in the "Columbian Centinel" newspaper in Boston on 15 May 1818. It reads: "Hammond Seaver m. Amelia Adams in Boston, Friday."

In the 1830 United States census, Hammond Seaver was a head of household in the 10th Ward of Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts The household included two free white males under age 5, one free white male aged 5 to 10, one free white male aged 40 to 50, one free white female aged 5 to 10, one free white female aged 10 to 15, one free white female aged 30 to 40, and one free white female aged 30 to 40 [1830 United States Census, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, Population Schedule, Boston 10th Ward, Page 367, FHL Microfilm 0,337,923).

In the 1840 US census, Hammond Seaver was a head of household residing in the 11th Ward of Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. It included two free white males aged 10 to 15, one free white male aged 15 to 20, one free white male aged 50 to 60, one free white female aged 15 to 20, one free white female aged aged 20 to 30 and one free white female aged 40 to 50 (1840 United States Census, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, Population Schedule, 11th Ward of Boston, Page 113, FHL Microfilm 0,014,681).

In the 1850 US census, the remnants of the Hammond Seaver family resided in South Reading MA. It included George A. Seaver (age 22, shoemaker, born MA), Susan W. (age 19, born MA), Howard (age 21, shoemaker, born MA), Amelia (age 56, born MA), Mary (age 29, born MA), A.J. (female, age 5/12, born MA). In the 1860 US Census, the remnants of the Hammond Seaver family resided in South Reading, Middlesex County, MA. The household included George A. (age 34, cordwainer, born MA, $300 in personal property), Susan W. (age 29, born MA), Amelia J. (age 10, born MA), Howell Seaver (age 32, cordwainer, born MA), Mary A. Boardman (age 35, seamstress, born MA), Mary A. Seaver (age 30, gentlewoman, born MA), Abby J. Austin (age 28, nurse, born ME), Ina T.
