Guy Merrill, the youngest son of Arthur and Mozetta Whittaker, was a jolly fun-loving boy. When he camehome, he always had a sile and pleasant word for everyone. He loved to tease his mother and sisters and tell some funny story to make everyone laugh. He was adored by his parents, brothers, and sisters. He had many girlfriends, but none seemed to have won his love untill he met Phyllis, the beautiful daughter of Boll and Lillian Rapley Page of Marysvale, Utah. Phyllis had brown eyes and brown hair, was a very slender young lady, and an enthusiastic worker in the L.D.S. Church. Guy won the heart and hand of this lovely girl. And they were married 20 [p152] April 1937. They made their home in Circleville and had a nice home.In a year or two a little boy came to this little home. They gave him the name Mack Page Whittaker, a very attractive child born 13 August 1940 [p152] . And in three years another child came to this worthy couple, a beautiful little girl born 1 August 1943 [p152]. Parents asked little Mack what to name her, and he said, "Margaret Ann", and that is her name--a pretty name given to her by her brother.Guy and Phyllis took their children and were married in the Manti Temple and were sealed for time and eternity 1 December 1944.
