Guy was Electrocuted while doing repair work for the Western New York and Pennsylvania Traction Co., by coming in contact with high voltage lines near Seneca Junction, NY NOTE: I believe this would be the old Trolley line that ran from Ceres, NY west to Salamanca NY with a branch south at Seneca Junction (between Vandalia and Salamanca) south to Bradford, PA., with another branch that went south from Olean to Rock City Park. Funeral was held at his fathers home (Porter Hanks) in Portville on Dec. 20, 1918. Left a wife (name not stated, but assume this would be Blanche), Father, one brother, Meryl and a sister, Miss Margaret Hanks both of Portville. He and his wife had lived in Olean at 211 South Union St.
