Obituary - The above taken from The Saskatoon Star Phoenix Of Fri. June 3 1959 The passing of Grover Cleveland Phelps in his 72nd year beloved husband of Mrs. Lily Myrtle Phelps of O'Malley P.O. Sask.,occured at his late residence on Tuesday June 2 1959. The funeral service will be held on Thursday June 4 at 3.30 pm. from Park Funeral Chapel. Surviving are two daughters Mrs G M Laliberte (Louella May)of Dinsmore Sask., Mrs. H R Masear(Hazel Irene)of Dunblane Sask.one son Orval Emerson Guelph Ont. seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren . The late Mr Phelps was born in Minnesota USA and homesteaded at Pike Lake where he farmed for a few years before moving to the Valley Park and O'Malley districts where he farmed for the past 26 years. Interment will take place in the family plot in Woodlawn Cemetery. Parking North of the Chapel, staff attendant.

Second wife, Lily Myrtle Phelps is also buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, died January 18, 1978. No children born to this marriage.
