Mr.Mongomery worked for a lumber firm in Newark, owned by his father,Wesley Montgomery, before he moved to Grand Rapids in 1916 where he wasgeneral superintendant and treasurer of Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. He diedTuesday in Grand Rapids, and services were held Thursday. Surviving arehis wife, Bertha Y Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. A. ParkerTerryberry, Grand Rapids; Mrs. Donald H Wattles, Benson, Ariz., and MrsDaniel H Schurz, Ann Arbor, Mich.; a son, Robert Montgomery, Lansing,Mich., and nine grandchildren. He was buried in Woodlawn cemetery, GrandRapids."
