Obituary 

 Grant Alexander, who for some time has been employed at The Perry Hotel as porter, died Friday afternoon from appendicitis and pneumonia.  He had been ill for a number of weeks being first taken with tonsilitis, then appendicitis and then with pneumonia.  The body was taken to the home of his father, David Alexander, in Charlevoix, Friday evening.
