GRAHAM — Mr. Grady William “Bear” Blalock, 61, of 1401 Branson Drive, died at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to all. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had a love for golf and was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the local Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter N of Burlington. Survivors include his wife, Pat J. Blalock of the home; a daughter, Ginger B. Duggins of Graham; a son, Grady W. Blalock Jr. of Graham; a granddaughter, Ariel Paige Duggins of Graham; and a sister, Linda B. Taylor and husband, Arnold E., of Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Blalock and Eva Holley Blalock. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Walter Webster. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 this evening, April 20, 2007, at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and at other times at the residence of the family.
