To Grandmother On Her Ninetieth Birthday.
If ever I grow to be ninety in this world of struggle and strife,
I hope I will use for my pattern The same as you used for your life.
Your life has been an example Of which all your family are proud ;
Your face has reflected God's sunshine, With God's help you've banished each cloud.
May you know we all love and adore you Our Grandma, who is ninety to-day,
Three cheers for your health and contentment, May joy crown the rest of your way.
Your loving granddaughter, Gay Carpenter Banzhaf.
