1982 Obituary-From The Republic, July 15, 1982: "Grace Tiley (Beck) Hillesland, 65, died of cancer June 30, 1982, at Anne Arundel General Hospital in Annapolis, MD, after neurosurgery. She was a former resident of Meyersdale [PA] and was owner and operator of the Grace Beck Beauty Salon, Center Street, Meyersdale [PA], in the late 1930s. She was the widow of the late Envin L. Hillesland, and is survived by a son, Lars John Hillesland of Aberdeen, MD; two daughters, Sallie Jo Bennett of Bluffton, IN, and Randi Jill Weber of Riad, Saudi Arabia, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Adelaide S. Beck of Annapolis, MD, and Lucinda S. Clark, of Arnold, MD."
